The Origin
Born from a real problem
It started at a desk job. Eight hours a day, five days a week, with a metal buckle pressing into my stomach every time I leaned forward. I tried loosening the belt. I tried different buckle styles. Nothing worked.
I started looking for alternatives and found nothing that made sense. Suspenders felt old-fashioned. Clip-on solutions looked cheap. Traditional belts all had the same fundamental flaw — the hardware.
So I started experimenting. Elastic. Snaps. Belt loops. After dozens of prototypes and a lot of feedback from friends and family, WUEER was born — a belt that works by going through the loops, not around the waist.
The name? It's a reminder that the best ideas often look a little weird at first. Until they don't.
